Mission:

• Analyze the economic conditions and changes occurring in the downtown area, including the effect of such factors as metropolitan growth, traffic congestion, parking and structural obsolescence and deterioration.
• Formulate long-range plans for improving the appeal, use and public accessibility of downtown facilities, remedying any deterioration of property values and developing the downtown area.
• Recommend to the city, business owners and residents the best actions for implementing downtown development plans.

Today, the Business Partner Roundtable leads a coordinated strategy of economic development, urban design, and public services to strengthen Downtown as:

• The heart of West Palm Beach and the economic and cultural hub of the region,
• A prosperous place for businesses and institutions,
• An attractive urban environment for visitors and residents, and
• A vibrant place to live, work and play.

Objectives: 

• Establish and monitor results-driven performance measurements
• Build relationships with the public and private sector that will benefit small business
• Provide education for continuous improvement and skill development training
